Anti-NUBP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NUBP iron-sulfur cluster assembly factor 1, cytosolic. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 320 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Mrp/NBP35 ATP-binding proteins protein family, NUBP1 is a known component of the cytosolic iron-sulfur (Fe/S) protein assembly (CIA) machinery. Synonyms for this target antigen include NBP, NBP1, NBP35, cytosolic Fe-S cluster assembly factor NUBP1, NBP 1, and CIAO5. NUBP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NUBP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
