Anti-LRRC59 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein leucine rich repeat containing 59. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 307 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and ER. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. LRRC59 is known to be required for nuclear import of FGF1, but not that of FGF2. Synonyms for this target antigen include leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 59 and ribosome-binding protein p34.
