Anti-CFAP300 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 300. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 267 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in nasal epithelial cells. It is a member of the CFAP300 protein family. The CFAP300 gene has been associated with the disease, Ciliary dyskinesia. Synonyms for this target antigen include dynein axonemal assembly factor 17 and uncharacterized protein C11orf70. CFAP300 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These CFAP300 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
