Anti-ZBED4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger BED-type containing 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1171 amino acid residues and a mass of 130.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in the testis, heart, lung, and weakly expressed in the brain, liver, muscle, placenta and small intestine. ZBED4 is a reported transcriptional regulator that binds to poly-guanine tracts in gene promoters and activates transcription (By similarity). Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger BED domain-containing protein 4 and zinc finger, BED domain containing 4. ZBED4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the ZBED4 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
