Anti-L1R antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the L1R antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GPR182 gene, which encodes G protein-coupled receptor 182. This protein is known to function in receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of L1R has a canonical amino acid length of 404 residues and a protein mass of 45.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the heart muscle and testis. L1R is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family.
