Anti-RABL2A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB, member of RAS oncogene family like 2A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 228 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.1 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the testis. A member of the Rab protein family, RABL2A is known to play an important role in male fertility, sperm intra-flagellar transport, and tail assembly. Synonyms for this target antigen include rab-like protein 2A. RABL2A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some RABL2A antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
