Anti-CDYL2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromodomain Y like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 506 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include CDY-like 2, chromodomain protein, Y-like 2, prostate cancer candidate protein 1, PCCP1, and chromodomain Y-like protein 2. CDYL2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CDYL2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
