Anti-PLEKHB2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pleckstrin homology domain containing B2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 222 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. PLEKHB2 is known to be involved in retrograde transport of recycling endosomes. Synonyms for this target antigen include pleckstrin homology domain-containing family B member 2, PH domain-containing family B member 2, evectin-2, pleckstrin homology domain containing, family B (evectins) member 2, and EVT2. PLEKHB2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PLEKHB2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
