Anti-S100PBP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein S100P binding protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 408 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the brain, spleen, and lung. Synonyms for this target antigen include S100P binding protein 1. S100PBP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. A number of S100pbp antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
