Anti-OR5C1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily C member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 320 amino acid residues and a mass of 35 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include hRPK-465_F_21, olfactory receptor 5C2, olfactory receptor 9-F, olfactory receptor, family 5, subfamily C, member 2 pseudogene, and olfactory receptor 5C1. OR5C1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR5C1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
