Anti-lysozyme g1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the LYG1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 194 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.4 kDa. It is known to be a secreted protein. The lysozyme g1 protein is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 23 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include lysozyme g-like protein 1 and lysozyme G-like 1.
