Anti-OR4C5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 4 subfamily C member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 326 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR11-99, olfactory receptor, family 4, subfamily C, member 5 pseudogene, seven transmembrane helix receptor, and olfactory receptor 4C5. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for OR4C5 antibodies.
