Anti-PLEKHH2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pleckstrin homology, MyTH4 and FERM domain containing H2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1493 amino acid residues and a mass of 168.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. The PLEKHH2 marker can be used to identify Midbrain-Derived Inhibitory Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include pleckstrin homology domain containing, family H (with MyTH4 domain) member 2, and pleckstrin homology domain-containing family H member 2. PLEKHH2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PLEKHH2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
