Anti-CFHR1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein complement factor H related 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 330 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.7 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma. CFHR1 is known to be involved in complement regulation. Post-translational modifications have been described, including N-glycosylation. The CFHR1 gene has been associated with the disease, Hemolytic uremic syndrome atypical. Synonyms for this target antigen include CFHL1, CFHL1P, CFHR1P, FHL-1, FHR-1, FHR1, H36, and CFHL. A number of CFHR1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
