Anti-TMEM266 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 266. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 531 amino acid residues and a mass of 58.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be mainly expressed in the cerebellum. Synonyms for this target antigen include Hv1 related protein 1 and transmembrane protein C15orf27. TMEM266 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TMEM266 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
