Anti-ZCWPW1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger CW-type and PWWP domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 648 amino acid residues and a mass of 72 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. ZCWPW1 is known to be involved with cell differentiation and spermatogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger CW-type PWWP domain protein 1, zinc finger CW-type and PWWP domain 1, zinc finger, CW-type with PWWP domain 1, and ZCW1. ZCWPW1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. These ZCWPW1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
