Anti-NKIRAS2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NFKB inhibitor interacting Ras like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 191 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Ras protein family, NKIRAS2 is known to be involved with inflammatory response pathways and lung development. Synonyms for this target antigen include kappaB-Ras2, NF-kappa-B inhibitor-interacting Ras-like protein 2, I-kappa-B-interacting Ras-like protein 2, NFKB inhibitor interacting Ras-like protein 2, kappa B-Ras protein 2, and KBRAS2. NKIRAS2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NKIRAS2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
