Anti-Rab acceptor 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the RABAC1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 185 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, and cytoplasm. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the PRA1 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include PRAF1, YIP3, prenylated Rab acceptor protein 1, PRA1 domain family 1, PRA1 family protein 1, and PRA1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some Rab acceptor 1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
