Anti-TCEAL9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transcription elongation factor A like 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 104 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the TFS-II protein family, TCEAL9 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include WEX6, transcription elongation factor A protein-like 9, TCEA-like protein 9, WBP-5, WW domain-binding protein 5, and WBP5. TCEAL9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the TCEAL9 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
