Anti-Kallikrein related peptidase 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene KLK3 in humans. The gene may also be known as Prostate Specific Antigen, APS, KLK2A1, PSA, hK3, and P-30 antigen. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 28.7 kilodaltons in mass. The KLK3 marker can be used to identify Prostate Epithelium Luminal Cells.* Based on gene name, monkey orthologs may also be found.
