Anti-TBC1D5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TBC1 domain family member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 795 amino acid residues and a mass of 89 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TBC1D5 is believed to act as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) for Rab family protein(s). TBC1D5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TBC1D5 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
