Anti-CLD1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CLD1 is a known alias name of the protein claudin 1, encoded by the CLDN1 gene in humans. This 211-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the liver and kidney. The term ILVASC is another synonym for CLD1. Western Blot is the most common application for the CLD1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
