Anti-JIP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the JIP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAPK8IP1 gene, which encodes mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 interacting protein 1. This protein is known to function in the regulation of apoptosis and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of JIP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 711 residues and a protein mass of 77.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, mitochondria, ER, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebral cortex. Other names for this target antigen include IB1, IB1, and JIP-1. Indicated applications for JIP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
