Anti-TUBE1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin epsilon 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 475 amino acid residues and a mass of 52.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Tubulin protein family, TUBE1 is known to be involved with cytoskeleton organization and the cell cycle. Synonyms for this target antigen include dJ142L7.2, tubulin epsilon chain, epsilon-tubulin, and TUBE. TUBE1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Tube1 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
