Anti-AVP-NPII antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AVP-NPII is a known alias name of the protein arginine vasopressin, encoded by the AVP gene in humans. This 164-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell to cell signaling, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the hypothalamus. Other synonyms for AVP-NPII include ADH, ADH, and ARVP. Some AVP-NPII antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
