Anti-QK1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target QK1 is a known alias name of the protein QKI, KH domain containing RNA binding, encoded by the QKI gene in humans. This 341-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a RNA-binding protein that plays a central role in myelinization. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features methylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the frontal cortex of brain. Other synonyms for QK1 include Hqk and QK. These QK1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
