Anti-CFAP69 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 69. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 941 amino acid residues and a mass of 105.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the testis, specifically in sperm. CFAP69 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. The CFAP69 gene has been associated with the disease, Spermatogenic failure. CFAP69 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CFAP69 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
