Anti-CFAP20 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 20. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 193 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of the CFAP20 protein family, CFAP20 is known to be involved with cilium assembly. Synonyms for this target antigen include C16orf80, EVORF, GTL3, fSAP23, UPF0468 protein C16orf80, and BUG22. CFAP20 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Cfap20 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
