Anti-XAB1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the XAB1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GPN1 gene, which encodes GPN-loop GTPase 1. This protein is known to be a small gtpase required for proper nuclear import of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII). The human version of XAB1 has a canonical amino acid length of 374 residues and a protein mass of 41.7 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. Other names for this target antigen include ATPBD1A, MBDIN, and NTPBP. Indicated applications for XAB1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
