Anti-Ict1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Ict1 is a known alias name of the protein mitochondrial ribosomal protein L58, encoded by the MRPL58 gene in humans. This 206-amino acid residue protein is known to be an important peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase component of the mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for Ict1 include DS-1 and DS1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Ict1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
