Anti-TIG1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TIG1 is a known alias name of the protein retinoic acid receptor responder 1, encoded by the RARRES1 gene in humans. This 294-amino acid residue protein is known as an inhibitor of the cytoplasmic carboxypeptidase AGBL2, may regulate the alpha-tubulin tyrosination cycle. It is localized to the membrane and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated and N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in urine. Indicated applications for TIG1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
