Anti-KLPH antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target KLPH is a known alias name of the protein lactase like, encoded by the LCTL gene in humans. This 567-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in formation of the lens suture in the eye, which is important for normal optical properties of the lens. It is localized to the ER of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
