Anti-Inducible T cell costimulator antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ICOS in humans. The gene may also be known as CCLP, CD278, Ly115, AILIM, CVID1, and activation-inducible lymphocyte immunomediatory molecule. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 22.6 kilodaltons in mass. The ICOS marker can be used to identify T Follicular Helper Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
