Anti-CD300a molecule antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CD300A in humans. The gene may also be known as IRC1/IRC2, IRp60, CLM-8, CMRF-35-H9, CMRF-35H, CMRF35-H, and CMRF35-like molecule 8. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 33.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
