Anti-C4orf19 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 4 open reading frame 19. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.7 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Synonyms for this target antigen include uncharacterized protein C4orf19. C4orf19 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the C4orf19 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
