Anti-Notch 4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Notch 4 is a known alias name of the protein notch receptor 4, encoded by the NOTCH4 gene in humans. This 2003-amino acid residue protein is known to function as a receptor for membrane-bound ligands Jagged1, Jagged2 and Delta1 to regulate cell-fate determination. It is localized to the nucleus and cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for Notch 4 include INT3, neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 4, and Notch homolog 4. Over 60 citations in the literature describe the use of Notch 4 antibodies in research. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
