Anti-SLC37A3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 37 member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 494 amino acid residues and a mass of 54.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and lysosomes. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the liver, kidney, intestine and pancreas. It is a member of the Organophosphate:Pi antiporter (OPA) (TC 2.A.1.4) protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include solute carrier family 37 (glycerol-3-phosphate transporter), member 3, sugar-phosphate exchange protein 3, and sugar phosphate exchanger 3. SLC37A3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SLC37A3 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
