Anti-R-Spondin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RSPO1 in humans. The R-Spondin 1 protein has an expected mass of 29 kDa, but there are 3 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as RSPO, RSPONDIN, R-spondin1, CRISTIN3, R-spondin homolog, and roof plate-specific spondin-1. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
