Anti-cMaf antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target cMaf is a known alias name of the protein MAF bZIP transcription factor, encoded by the MAF gene in humans. This 373-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a transcriptional activator or repressor. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in endothelial cells. Other synonyms for cMaf include AYGRP, CCA4, and CTRCT21. Indicated applications for cMaf antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
