Anti-COXPD10 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the COXPD10 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MTO1 gene, which encodes mitochondrial tRNA translation optimization 1. This protein is reported to be involved in 5-carboxymethylaminomethyl modification (mnm(5)s(2)U34) of the wobble uridine base in mitochondrial tRNAs. The human version of COXPD10 has a canonical amino acid length of 717 residues and a protein mass of 80 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as CGI-02.
