Antibodies Target iNOS

Anti-iNOS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target iNOS is a known alias name of the protein nitric oxide synthase 2, encoded by the NOS2 gene in humans. This 1153-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the liver, retina, bone cells and airway epithelial cells of the lung. Other synonyms for iNOS include HEP-NOS and NOS. ELISA is the most common application for the iNOS antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
