Albumin

There are over 2500 anti-Albumin antibodies from over 60 different suppliers shown below. You can also read 3 reviews from researchers who have used these antibodies in applications like Western Blot Analysis with a wide variety of samples such as Human Exosome Lysates and Conditioned Media from Mouse Hepatocytes.

In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, albumin (ALB). Orthologs for ALB have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken.

The canonical Albumin protein is 609 amino acids in length, 69.4 kDa in mass, and has a secreted subcellular localization. It is a member of the ALB/AFP/VDB protein family. Albumin functions in chaperone binding and antioxidant activity, as well as having a role in hemostasis, metabolism, and cellular stress response. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably phosphorylation and glycosylation.

Synonyms for this protein include: FDAHT; HSA; PRO0883; PRO0903; PRO1341; serum albumin.
