MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a novel class of small noncoding RNAs that regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. ABM’s ADmiRNA microRNA array allows quick detection of 553 non-redundant miRNAs encompassing the entire set of miRNAs for humans and mice. This technology utilizes the proprietary probe selection algorithms developed by Dr. Tang at the University of Kentucky. The significant advantage with this selection of probe sequence allows the complete elimination of cross-hybridization between closely related target sites. Other advantages associated with our ADmiRNA array include the bona fide detection of miRNA expression levels without the requirement of sample amplification.
