Extract both large and small RNA from FFPE samples
Norgen’s new FFPE RNA Purification Kit allows researchers to extract high quality RNA from FFPE samples for several downstream applications including qPCR, RT-PCR, microarray expression profiling and mutation screening. Norgen’s FFPE extraction kit is designed to isolate both small and large RNA, whereas competitor kits use high concentrations of ethanol that favor extraction of small RNA resulting in poor yields of larger RNA. However, large RNA species present in the sample may not be too badly degraded and could in fact be used for some applications. With Norgen’s kit both small and large RNA sequences will be recovered with ease.
