Reflective Plates for qPCR
White, opaque wells reflect up to 10x more fluorescence than clear wells. This characteristic is extremely useful in qPCR, especially in low volume qPCR. To offer this advantage to qPCR users, Eppendorf has developed the twin.tec real-time PCR plate. This plate not only shows significantly increased reflection, it also shows more homogenous reflection. Better homogeneity in qPCR replicates means lower standard deviation within an assay, which can be crucial for further analyses.
