The Photon Imager is a new Molecular Imaging System for Whole Body Small Animals that enables “Real Time” detection of photonic events from in vivo experiments. Equipped with an extremely sensitive intensified CCD camera, the Photon Imager accurately counts photons from Bioluminescent and Fluorescent Expression in “Real Time”. No more guessing, you see what happens from the first second of the experiment. This information is invaluable for kinetic, trafficking and time lapse studies. With its new In Actio™ optional module, its high acquisition speed allows imaging of both anesthetized and non anesthetized animals at 50 frames per second.
