The LAS-4000 imaging system has unmatched speed, sensitivity, and a dynamic range of up to four orders of magnitude. The new ultraviolet epi-panels enhance the sensitivity for imaging quantum dots in in vitro applications like multispectral Western blotting. Near-infrared epi-panels enable deeper penetration of excitation light for high-sensitivity small animal in vivo imaging using longer wavelength fluorochromes like Cy™7 and Alexa Fluor®750. With six interchangeable light sources, five position filter turret, and 3.2-megapixel Super CCD imaging chip, the LAS-4000 outperforms any CCD-based digital imager in a variety of in vitro (e.g. fluorescence, chemiluminescence, bioluminescence), and in vivo imaging applications.
