HORIBA Jobin Yvon, in partnership with GenOptics, offers the SPRi-Lab+™ and SPRi-Plex™ surface plasmon resonance imaging (SPRi) systems. Surface plasmon resonance enables label-free rapid monitoring and quantification of biomolecular interactions in applications such as DNA:DNA, protein:DNA, protein:ligand or peptide:ligand interaction studies. By adding imaging based detection, SPRi extends this capability to simultaneously analyze sample interaction with up to 400 separate probes. One SPRi experiment provides measurements of binding affinity, association rate, dissociation rate, surface coverage (pg/mm², pmol/mm²), target molecule detection, etc. for all probes.
The SPRi-Lab+™ is a compact “open platform” system optimized to meet the demands of developers and users and alike. The SPRi-Plex™ is an automated version of the system that makes repetitively running established methods simple.
