Polyplus-transfection launches FectoFly™, a novel set of DNA transfection solutions dedicated to insect cells for high level production of baculovirus and recombinant proteins. Fectofly™ I and II reagents allow sucessfull transfection of adherent and suspension insect cell cultures both in the latest generation of serum-free media and in the presence of serum. By simple and rapid transient transfection methods, Fectofly™ I and II provide high transfection efficiency of insect cells such as Sf9, Sf21, Tn5 and Schneider cells and robust protein expression.
