Highly Uniform Magnetic Microspheres
ProMag™ are highly uniform 3µm polymer-based magnetic spheres. A hydrophilic surface means low nonspecific binding in protein-based systems, and superior handling without the use of surfactant. Their surface chemistry and surfactant-free preparation offer easy attachment of ligands for many applications in the life sciences. In addition, their rapid separation rates make them ideal for automated assay systems or benchtop use. Polysciences offers 2 varieties of these microspheres: ProMag™ 3 Series COOH Surfactant-Free and ProMag™ 3 Series Streptavidin.
